Start anytime — if your roadworthy isn't done, your application just waits for it. You don't pay until everything's in.
03
Bring your roadworthy and our endorsement to a VicRoads centre. You pay their permit fee, and they issue your club plates and logbook across the counter. The car doesn’t need to be there.

A club permit is limited use: 45 or 90 days a year. Note each trip in the logbook.
Club Plate Co is a VicRoads-accredited club operating under the Victorian Club Permit Scheme. We’re not a hobby club with a sign-up form bolted on — endorsing club permits is the whole reason we exist, which is why we’ve made it quick, clear, and entirely online.
An accredited club under the Victorian Club Permit Scheme.

Any make, any model — if it's over 25 years old, it's in.
Membership that lets us endorse your permit and your renewals.
Two costs go to others, not us — the VicRoads permit fee and a one-off roadworthy. We don’t add to either.
Live chat is always available — instant answers and help whenever you need them. Prefer email? Reach the club or one of us directly.
More than 25 years, measured by build date — that’s the one hard gate in the scheme. The build date is on the compliance plate under the bonnet; if there’s any doubt, VicRoads will accept the date of first registration.
Begin your application now and it waits for your roadworthy — we don’t charge you until it’s all in hand. Not sure you’re eligible? It’s just the build date: 25 years or older and you’re in.
